hello-debhelper software package provides transitional dummy package for hello, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hello-debhelper
hello-debhelper is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hello-debhelper package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hello-debhelper *
You will get with hello-debhelper package name, version, architecture and description in a table
